Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how Drumini treats refunds in connection with donations and related payments made through our platform. Please read this policy together with our Terms of Service.

Last updated: 13 May 2026

1. Nature of donations

Donations made via Drumini are voluntary charitable contributions intended for the benefit of the non-governmental organisation (NGO) you select. Once a donation has successfully completed and funds have been processed in accordance with our payment flows, that contribution is treated as final.

2. No refunds after a completed donation

Drumini does not provide refunds after a donor has successfully completed a donation. This reflects the nature of charitable giving, the immediate allocation of funds to programme and operational use by recipient organisations, and the administrative and compliance constraints involved in reversing completed charitable transfers.

By completing a donation, you acknowledge that you have selected the recipient and amount deliberately and that you will not seek a refund from Drumini on the basis of regret, change of mind, or disagreement with how an NGO describes its work, except where these Terms or applicable law expressly requires otherwise.

3. Failed or incomplete payments

If a payment does not complete successfully (for example due to cancellation, timeout, or a decline by your bank or card issuer), you will not be charged for that attempt, or any authorisation hold will be released in line with your bank's or card network's timelines. If you believe you were charged in error for a transaction that did not complete, contact us with the transaction reference and we will work with our payment partners to investigate in good faith.

4. Duplicate charges and technical errors

If you can demonstrate that the same donation was debited more than once due to a clear technical duplication (for example two identical charges for one intended donation with matching references), contact us promptly. We will review verifiable records. Resolution may involve correction through our payment partners where objectively supported by payment records; this section does not create a general right of refund after an intentional, single completed donation as described in section 2.

5. Disputes with NGOs or use of funds

Questions about how an NGO uses donations, its programmes, or its governance should be directed to that NGO. Drumini is not a party to the legal relationship between a donor and an NGO regarding use of funds after a completed donation, and our no-refund position in section 2 applies notwithstanding general enquiries about NGO activities.

6. Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection, payment network, or banking regulations.
